Could I undertake responsiblity of a rollback?

Recently A plant decided to leave a message asking me if I would like to be a Rollback. I left a message on his page but he still responded back. I don't really know how this works but I know I have to make a forum post, this isn't that. I am just asking as a mock trial what your opinion is on this. Comment below!
