Oh, some people are returning now, might as well write one of these.
At this rate, I pretty much believe that my departure from editing around this wiki is barely close to relevant, considering that's almost a year that I did. But hey, looking back, sometimes I really wished that the leaving blog wasn't so vague and whatnot, and that I could've put more effort into writing the reason out, but here you go, if anyone really cares.
Why did I leave?[]
Surprisingly, it wasn't due to the Discord drama that happened around 2016, and it barely mattered to me since there was still a place to chat and hang around with the community.
Somewhere around mid-October, or around September, I can't really remember, I was starting to get real tired of editing, and found out that I was taking it a bit too seriously, and felt like my health was slightly affected by it, considering I would probably lose sleep from editing streaks and probably forget to eat.
The whole idea of becoming admin was fading away real fast, because:
1) No motivation
2) To me, what would be the whole point of it? Did I really want to spend another year editing away and doing even more edits, when I could be moving on to a new hobby at my own pace without any worries, unlike editing at certain times, and how much time did I want to spend on something that probably wouldn't be worth remembering back when I've completely grewn up?
(Sorry if last one's a bit too much of an overstretch, I don't know how to describe that one.)
Somehow, I felt like picking up drawing once more, because:
1) I didn't need to "compete" with anyone
2) I felt it was more satisfying in a way, and worth spending hours in
3) It had a bit of a relevance to some certain thing, quite hard to describe.
Regarding why I left the Discord when the second one was made, I got kind of frustrated with some things and left that, though its early days barely matters to me anymore since it has improved a lot, won't deny that.
Coming back[]
Nope, not editing, pretty much the same mindset as earlier.
Pretty much since I've heard the Discord has improved a lot, so I decided to return in October or so. Applied for mod, though I wasn't sure if it be accepted or rejected at first, but got accepted with that and I'll just take it and help the wiki again in some way, even if it's not exactly hanging around this site much.
There you have it, I don't know how to end this blog in a proper way.
