Ah, I bet you guys never thought you'd see me here again.
Well, I'm popping in to give my thoughts on the level system in PvZ 2. I dreaded it for a while, but now that its finally here, it's not as bad as it initially looked.
Now, I don't know what the maximum level for each plant is, nor do I know what the upgrades for each of them does. I've noticed that projectiles shot by most plants are smaller now, but I can't tell if any of the plants have actually been made weaker in their default states.
Since I don't care much for PvZ 2 anymore and rarely play it, I decided to upgrade plants on my main profile. The thing is, upgrading is extremely tedious. It seems that Travel Log quests only show up every 4 hours, and for me, I only get 3 quests ev…Read more >
George Fan, the original creator of Plants vs. Zombies, has recently announced a brand new game he's working on, "Octogeddon".
There's no gameplay that's been shown yet, but the game's art is done by Rich Werner, the artist for the original Plants vs. Zombies. The game will be released in 2017 on Steam.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm excited about this. As a huge fan of PvZ 1, I'm hyped to see a new game by the original creators.
I also stumbled across George Fan's twitter, and it's very interesting. He's seems pretty upset about how he was fired by Popcap and they now own the rights to franchise he created. I'm at least happy to see that he's still working on new games, even if he no longer has the rights to some of his own franchises.

Yes everyone, this day has finally come. I am officially retiring from this wiki. What with everything I have going on in my personal life right now, I simply don't have the time to be active on here. So, I'm leaving. While I may still visit from time to time, I don't think I'm going to return. It's time for me to move on to the next chapter of my life. I'll be starting college in the fall, and while this wiki was a fun community to be a part of, I highly doubt I'll be able to maintain a consistent level of activity here while I'm in college.
I still play the Plants vs. Zombies games, but what with PvZ 2 being over (and not having very good content added post game, IMO) and PvZ Heroes still not out, my interest is quickly dwindling. I still…Read more >
19 notifications? Alright. I'm also no longer a staff member. Cool. The thing is, do I want to go through the trouble of getting my rights back? I'm not sure. My activity on the wiki has declined over the months due to many things happening in my personal life at the moment, but I've still tried to be on here as much as I can. And, in the past I either obtained staff rights by accident (like when I became a chat mod), or as the result of very few people voting in my promotion thread (like when I became a content mod).
So the question is, since my level of activity on the wiki isn't as high as it used to be, is it even worth it to try and get my rights back? And would I be able to?

Plants vs. Zombies 2 ended with Modern Day. The ending was half-hearted, and it definitely could've been much, much better. But Popcap wasn't done. They should've stopped updating PvZ 2 there, but no. Despite having another game to work on, they decided they needed to keep the PvZ 2 fans occupied (likely so they could still make money off it). So what do they do? They start f***ing up the game in every way possible. And here's how.
This technically started before the game ended, but it only got really bad afterwards. Starting in Jurassic Marsh, we were introduced to "Upgrade" plants. But these plants weren't like the upgrades in the original game. These plants were, instead, premium plants that had a similar ability to a plant already in th…
