An useful alternative to heroes who cannot run more powerful removal options such as Squash and Doom-Shroom. Compared to other direct damage option from the Kabloom class, Sizzle has the highest amount of immediate single target damage, but suffers from inability to hit the enemy hero and the lack of Berry tribe. In particular, a Berry Blast boosted by Sergeant Strongberry can also deal 5 damage for a mere cost of 2 suns.
For obvious reason, it is not recommended to use Sizzle as Solar Flare, since Squash is almost always a superior option. This card will trigger "When hurt" abilities such as Newspaper Zombie. Sizzle is a good counter for the Hail-a-Copter and Walrus Rider cards as it can destroy them instantly when used. Also, it's generally useful for killing or at least crippling zombies with high health stats such as Gargantuar and Hearty zombies. It can also be used to get rid of the amphibious enemy zombies if the player lacks amphibious defense. Therefore, as long as it's not critically needed, Sizzle should not be used against weak foes and instead should be saved in case the enemy plays a powerful card.
