Normally, plants benefit a lot more from this sort of move. Zombies, they usually have the benefit of getting their tricks in AFTER the plants can deal with them. Plants get no such luck; you got a Bungee Plumber, you have ZERO method to counter. Worse stats, but, playing after zombies is an advantage. This can trigger Zombot 1000 up, by turning a legendary 9/9 to a funny 1/1 after that. WELL, HARD BATTLE.
Destroys all plants. With Zucchini, the Zombie Hero can still power-up their transformed zombies using Vitamin Z, etc. Also Zombot 1000 has more damage.

Zombot 1000, hands down. Ability-wise and stats-wise, this thing is better than the Great Zucchini. Plus, the Teleport + Zombot 1000 combo exists for Immorticia. Fairy27 (talk) 09:19, April 25, 2017 (UTC)
Think about it- if you are paying for something that costs 9, you want the card with higher stats and much better ability, right? Plus, if you are using The Smash, you can use Gargologist to lower its cost. You don't get synergy like that with The Great Zucchini, don't you?
