Version 1.2.12

  • Ability change: Plants can't be hurt this turn. → Plants can't be hurt this turn. Draw a Card.

Due to the nature of this trick, using this can make you near invincible when you have a plant in every lane. The only things that can hit Citron in that situation are strikethrough zombies, and abilities or tricks that can directly hit him. This also gives you an extra card, so it can be used when you are in dire need of cards, but it would be a huge waste unless you are well protected by plants, but have no cards. This trick works the best with the Soul Patch in play, as it will absorb any hit dealt to the hero and not take any damage itself.

  • Its description references the knock-knock joke punchline of "Orange you glad I didn't say banana?"
  • This is the only way a plant can be shielded.
  • Its name, appearance and ability is based on the Citron's ability called Peel Shield from Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.
  • It's one of the two ways to shield incoming plant from damage, the other being Root Wall.
