For the international version, see Modern Day - Day 3 Modern Day - Day 3 is the third level of Modern Day in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. It is a Special Delivery level. Newspaper Zombie makes his first appearance in this level After completing this level, the player receives a money bag.
Difficulty
The Newspaper Zombie can be troubling to deal with, as getting rid of the newspaper causes him to walk fast and bite plants faster. However, Shrinking Violet is given. This plant shrinks zombies to decrease their damage and health. In Hard Mode, zombies at level 4 now difficult to defeat, especially Newspaper Zombie, when his newspaper is destroyed, he can destroy any plants, including Endurians in few seconds, so it is recommend to upgrades your plant, though upgrading Shrinking Violet and Snapdragon is usually uncommon. If you don't have any level 4 plants, you can try to stall these zombies as you can until final wave, then uses Tactical Cuke to wipe out all zombies on the screen if you have enough gems. Luckily enough, unlike its international counterpart, Troglobites, Pianist Zombies and Gargantuar Primes do not present in this level.
