Level 1-9 is the ninth level in Plants vs. Zombies, Plants vs. Zombies: Journey to the West, and Plants vs. Zombies: Great Wall Edition, and it is the ninth Day level. It is a regular level. When this level is finished for the first time, the player obtains a note from the zombies.
Difficulty
- This level features Buckethead Zombies, Pole Vaulting Zombies and two huge waves of zombies. As it has many powerful zombies, it may be a challenge to newer and inexperienced players. It is easy as long as the player uses effective strategies to deal with Buckethead Zombies.
Strategies
Strategy 1
- Required plants:
- Try to place two columns of Sunflowers, one column of Peashooters, one column of Repeaters, one column of Snow Peas, and one column of Wall-nuts to defend all of the plants.
- This will defend off all of the Buckethead Zombies and Pole Vaulting Zombies.
- If a zombie eats through all of your defenses, you have a Lawn Mower to kill all of the zombies in that row. Zombies will not spawn on that row for a while, so it will give you time to fix your defenses.
Strategy 2
Plants
- Sunflower
- Repeater
- Snow Pea
- Wall-nut
- Cherry Bomb
- Potato Mine
Place two columns of Sunflowers. Use Potato Mines on the first few zombies. Once you have around five-seven Sunflowers, place a Snow Pea in the third lane. After that, keep placing Sunflowers until you have 2 columns. Put a Repeater in the fourth lane when the first Buckethead appears. This will take care of it, don't worry. Also, put Wall-nuts in the fifth lane. If this doesn't work, make sure to put a Cherry Bomb when the zombies are about to trigger your Lawn Mower. You should win by now.
