On a level with Troglobites, don't let Troglobites push any ice blocks past the 6th column
Difficulty: Somewhat hard
Iceblockade is an achievement in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It is achieved by completing a level without letting a Troglobite push an ice block past the sixth column. It is worth 5 points on Game Center for iOS devices and 500 XP on Google Play Games for Android devices.
Its name is a portmanteau of the words "ice block," referring to the ice blocks the Troglobites push and "blockade," referring to the player trying to prevent the Troglobites pushing their ice blocks past the sixth column.
The best strategy is to pick the level where Troglobites are introduced, namely Day 17 of Frostbite Caves, and use thawing plants like Hot Potato, Fire Peashooter, Pepper-pult and Lava Guava with area-of-effect plants like Snapdragon. Whenever Troglobite enters the lawn, a Hot Potato should be used on the leftmost frozen block. Jalapeno is also a good choice as it also destroy the ice blocks and the Troglobite.
The most simple way to earn this achievement is to plant a boosted Infi-nut on the sixth column or feed it Plant Food. Alternatively, you can put any wall type plant in front of Troglobite to keep him from moving blocks in case you lack Plant Food. Having a Jalapeno ready or having a copy of it with Imitater is also useful while other plants are recharging.
- The player will not earn this achievement if the player plays a level other than playing in Frostbite Caves.
