IMPossible Mission!

IMPossible Mission! is the fourth plant mission in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes. The main zombie enemy is the Z-Mech. This mission also features Super Brainz and The Smash as the opposing zombie heroes.

Origins

The name is a portmanteau of the words "impossible mission" and "Imp." This mission's name could also be a reference to the video game "Impossible Mission." The cover is a parody of the Uncanny X-Men.

Plot

Green Shadow, Citron, and Grass Knuckles spy on Dr. Zomboss and Z-Mech discussing a plan to make more Z-Mech suits in Z-Tech. They decide to sneak into the factory to stop the Z-Mechs. Inside, Dr. Zomboss notices their presence, and signals to Z-Mech to attack them, though they evade the attack. In the end, by destroying the huge amounts of Z-Mech suits, the three plant heroes are victorious.

He will make sure that Exploding Imp hits your hero with out worrying, because in his hand, there are lots of moving tricks and zombies. Make sure you have some Team-Up plants prepared when faced with a Gravestone.

Teammate Battle (I)

There are not many powerful zombies to worry about here, but he may use Smoke Bomb to move Mini-Ninja to do heavy damage to you. Be wary of Swashbuckler Zombies and Smelly Zombies as well, and try to take care of them before they destroy you and your defenses.

Mini-Boss Battle

This deck is similar to the Encounter Battle deck, but instead of Bucketheads, there are All-Star Zombies, and instead of Rodeo Gargantuars, there are Monster Mashes. Try to apply the same strategy you used before, but prioritize on taking out his zombies before he can buff them in the late game as well.

Boss Battle

In this final deck, Z-Mech is fully focused on Boosting his Sports zombies with Team Mascot and protecting them with Zombie Coach until they're strong enough to plow through your defenses. As such, a Removal deck or Guardian hero is recommended.

• Before the 1.2.11 update, IMPossible Mission! was named "IMPossible!".
• The word "IMPossible" is also used as the outro dialogue of winning Modern Day - Day 33 in Plants Vs. Zombies 2.
• This mission & it’s arena is a reference to Z-Tech Factory from Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2.
• The comic book cover for this mission parodies of the first issue of X-Men.
