The Original PC edition (also known as Old PC version, known as V1.0.0.1051 in the Readme for the game) of Plants vs. Zombies is the first version of the game. It was released on May 5, 2009 and it originally (and initially) made it available through Steam for Microsoft Windows and macOS. On August 18, 2009, a physical version was released. Due to the release of a new Plants vs. Zombies: Game of the Year Edition on July 11, 2010, this version was discontinued when the GOTY version became available on Steam one month after its release on August 10, 2010. Now it is no longer available to any website, however, it can still be purchased on Amazon.

- Ask Me About Mustache Mode - Enable Mustache Mode
- Better Off Dead - Get to a streak of 10 in I, Zombie Endless.
- China Shop - Get to a streak of 15 in Vasebreaker Endless.
- Cryptozombologist - Discover the Yeti Zombie.
- Walk This Way - Hypnotize a Dancing Zombie.
- Explodonator - Blow up 10 full sized zombies with a single Cherry Bomb.
- Home Lawn Security - Complete Adventure Mode.
- Immortal - Survive 20 waves of pure zombie ferocity.
- Morticulturalist - Collect all 49 plants, including plants from Crazy Dave's shop.
- Nobel Peas Prize - Get the Gold Sunflower Trophy.
- SPUDOW! - Blow up a zombie using a Potato Mine.
- Towering Wisdom - Grow the Tree of Wisdom to 100 feet.
Scrapped Achievements[]
These achievements were originally going to be added, but got scrapped.
- No-Cob No-Explode - Play Last Stand without planting any Cob Cannons.
- Sultan of Spin - Upgrade all of your plants in Beghouled Twist.
