Level 1-13 was a bonus level, and thirteenth and the final Day level in Plants vs. Zombies: Journey to the West. The player had to pay 20 gems or fully grow a Cherry Bomb, a Wall-nut and a Potato Mine in their Zen Garden to gain access to this level. To complete the level, the player had to not let the zombies cross the yellow line.
Difficulty[]
- The yellow line acted like the flowers in Plants vs. Zombies 2. Like levels with this feature in Plants vs. Zombies 2, this could be hard if the player is not prepared.
- The objective could be problematic, due to the appearance of Pole Vaulting Zombies with their fast speed and ability to vault over plants.
Strategies[]
- Required plants:
- Try to place two columns of Sunflowers, one column of Peashooters, one column of Snow Peas, and one column of Wall-nuts to defend all of the plants and to not let the zombies cross the yellow line, completing the objective. Don't forget to also plant Chompers in front of the Wall-nuts to avoid having Pole Vaulting Zombie crossing the line.
- Put your Hero Plant in front of Pole Vaulting Zombie in order to make him waste his pole.
- The best Hero Plants for this level are Nut Wujing for blocking the zombies, Monk Flower for generating a large amount of sun and Monkey King Peashooter for high spped and damage output.
