Stickers are items in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. They are obtained in Sticker Packs via spending coins in the Sticker Shop. In Garden Warfare 2, some chests scattered across the Backyard Battleground can also yield either Sticker Packs or single Stickers.
Sticker Packs may contain Spawnable Plants, Build-a-Bots, Spawnable Zombies, Character Stickers, customization, alternate abilities, or upgrades, though the latter is exclusive to the original Garden Warfare. In both games, a few Sticker Packs are given to the player for free as a welcome gift to the game.
Ten seconds (fifteen seconds in Garden Warfare 2) prior to a multiplayer match, the player cannot access the sticker shop. Instead, there is a sign saying "Sorry, the Sticker Shop is closed, a new match is about to start!."
In Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, the concept of Stickers, Sticker Packs, and the Sticker Shop are replaced with the Reward-O-Tron 9000.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare[]
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is the first game to introduce Stickers and Sticker Packs, initially releasing seven Sticker Packs, with six more packs being released in updates and small patches.
The Sticker Shop in this game is part of the game's main menu UI and is mainly accessed there.
There are two other ways of obtaining Sticker Packs without buying them from the Sticker Shop; the player will still have to access the Sticker Shop to unlock them:
- Every time a class is leveled from Level 4 to Level 10, a Sticker Pack is given to the player as a gift; these packs will always be the same, correlating to the class that was leveled up.
- Purchasing marked Cheetos packages and inputting the code on them to receive Chester Chomper and Dr. Chester. Chester Chomper and Dr. Chester were later made available for free.
- Berry Shooter, Citrus Cactus, and Plasma Pea can be obtained automatically for free.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2[]
Stickers and the concept of Sticker Packs return in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, though none of the original Sticker Packs return.
With the removal of the main menu, the Sticker Shop is mainly accessed instead through several vending machines in the Backyard Battleground, though they can be accessed through the UI after any multiplayer match.
The different ways of obtaining Sticker Packs, other than using the Sticker Shop, in this game has increased.
- If a Community Challenge is completed with the Player having participated or contributed to the minimum amount, a Sticker Pack will be awarded to them.
- During Town Hall events, three chests containing Sticker Packs can be opened for a varying amount of Rainbow Stars each. These chests will reset every event and are inaccessible if no event is running.
- Mr. Lucky's, Sleepy Bat's, and Snowman's quests gave even Sticker Packs as rewards. (Archived content)
Rarities[]
Stickers are categorized by different "rarities." More-common Stickers have less-amazing items, while Super Rare and even Legendary Stickers can bring amazing items and characters. The rarities are listed below:
- Common - Can be found in practically any sticker pack. They have a gray outline.
- Uncommon - Are better and rarer than Common items, but are still found quite easily. They have a white outline.
- Rare - Better than Uncommon items, but not as good as Super Rares. They have a brick outline.
- Super Rare - These items are usually animated and the characters are very good. They have a blue crystal-like outline
- Legendary (Garden Warfare 2 only) - These items can animate and function while in-game and characters have Legendary meters, which can be filled to trigger a more-powerful mode. They are extremely hard to find. They have a gold outline decorated with jewels and diamonds. They will also play the song Ode to Joy when received.
- Special (Garden Warfare 2 only) - These items are only given to players who have done specific/special tasks. They have a metallic-black outline decorated with diamonds.
- Classic (Garden Warfare 2 only) -These items are only unlocked either from Rux or from the chests inside the Town Hall which can be opened using Rainbow Stars. They have a bright yellow outline with a green vine and purple wire (most likely representing the Plants and the Zombies) that seems to have a few lightbulbs, tulips, and leaves.

Specific to Garden Warfare[]
- The Deluxe pack is only obtainable by purchasing the digital deluxe version of the game.
- An alternate version of the Deluxe pack can be purchased from Origin to get one of four coin packs. Here are the contents of the coin packs:
- Pack 1: 13,500 coins
- Pack 2: 30,000 coins
- Pack 3: 85,000 coins
- Pack 4: 200,000 coins
- If the player has all upgrades, characters, and customization unlocked, the Sticker Packs will yield nothing but consumables.
- A special Plants vs. Zombies 5th birthday commemoration gave all players 100 Skip Challenge Stars in the form of 5 Super Duper Packs.
- During the Cyber Sale weekend, all sticker packs were half-priced for a limited time.
- There are Sticker Packs on the PlayStation version of the game that contain customization based on Rachet and Clank and Fat Princess.
