Brains in Danger!

Brains in Danger! is the fortieth and final mission for the plant side in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes. The main opposing zombie hero in this mission is Professor Brainstorm. This mission also features Electric Boogaloo and Z-Mech as opposing zombie heroes.

Encounter Battle

This deck is pretty straightforward: Professor Brainstorm relies heavily on trying to directly strike at your hero through Abracadaver, Pool Shark and Shieldcrusher Viking. As such, a deck filled with removal cards is recommended. But, beware Valkyrie, she can be boost if you destroy a zombie.

This is a very dangerous Gargantuar deck, able to deploy up to 23 Gargantuars so pack lots of removal cards and try to win the battle before Gargantuar's Feast could be played on turn 11.

Mini-Boss Battle

This deck is filled with Eurekas. Because of this, Professor Brainstorm can obtain ANY random zombie card from the entire game. You'll have no idea what you'll face and the longer you stall the worse it gets for you.

Like the third battle, this deck is aimed on getting 120+ random cards. It could get anything, causing any non-rushing deck to suffer heavily.

Tips

One way to make the fight easier is to employ Mega-Grow fighters. Black-Eyed Pea is especially helpful, as it will grow stronger every time Professor Brainstorm uses his superpower. Other good Mega-Grow cards include plants that get stronger every turn such as Pea Pod or Doubled Mint, as Professor Brainstorm will likely have to spend his first few turns drawing cards. Sportacus is also a wise choice if you have it, as every time Professor Brainstorm uses his superpower he will receive 2 damage from it. Dark Matter Dragonfruit and Forget-Me-Nuts also work well, since they make Eureka cost more to use.

Trivia

• This and Peel that Orange! are the only missions that can never be completed, due to the final level never being able to be finished.
  • The player can repeat the final level an infinite amount of times, but will never truly complete it.
