Cosmic Flower is a galactic rare plant card in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, and a member of the Solar class. She costs 3 to play, and has 2/1. She has the Strikethrough trait, and her abilities Conjure a flower card when she is played, and give it the Strikethrough trait if it is not a trick card.
Her appearance is based on Sunflower.
Her name is a combination of "cosmic" and "flower," referring to her appearance.
- Class: Solar
- Tribe: Flower Plant
- Trait: Strikethrough
- Ability: When played: Conjure a Flower, and it gets Strikethrough.
- Set - Rarity: Galactic - Rare
She enjoys the simple things in life - hanging out with friends, fighting Zombies, and basking in cosmic rays.
- Added to the game.
While she has poor stats for her cost, she makes up for it with her Conjure ability. She Conjures a flower card, and give it the Strikethrough trait. This can be quite useful as you have a chance to get powerful plants such as Soul Patch or Dandy Lion King. However, she can potentially give Power Flower or Bloomerang, which already have the Strikethrough trait. In addition, Sunflowers, Twin Sunflowers, and Lil' Buddies Conjured by this will not be able to fight back due to their base strength of 0, so you must keep that in mind. Reincarnation is also an example unless you were to play her right away, as she will lose the Strikethrough trait once she transforms.
Perhaps the best thing to get from Cosmic Flower is Soul Patch, which can not only protect the plant hero from damage, but also inflict heavy damage on both the zombie in his lane and the zombie hero. Another good card that can be Conjured by Cosmic Flower is Mayflower, as it will guarantee to hit the zombie hero and then Conjure a bean, corn or squash every turn as long as the zombie hero does not block. Due to the many good plants Mayflower can Conjure such as Cornucopia, getting Mayflower from Cosmic Flower is incredibly useful. Cosmic Flower could also have a chance to conjure Briar Rose, which can be effective when you are to swarm with a ton of flowers.
She should be relatively simple to defeat due to her low stats. However, beware of her Conjuring ability, as it could Conjure something detrimental to strategies like Soul Patch. Above all, do not Bounce this plant unless if she is blocking the final hit on the plant hero, as the plant hero will be able to play her again and Conjure another flower.
- If Lily of the Valley is conjured by Cosmic Flower and attacks, she does 2 more damage to a zombie and the zombie hero instead of 1. However, this is only a visual error, as their actual health is reduced normally. This can result in that zombie or the zombie hero surviving with 0 health.
