Card description

Captain Combustible knows how to light a fire under his Teammates.

Strategies

With

Use this super power on an empty lane or a strong zombie, as well they will deal a lot of damage to that zombie, and destroy them easily.

The best plants to use this on are plants that do reliable bonus attacks, like Repeater or Bananasaurus Rex. Since your opponent will likely try to focus on destroying the plant you use this on, consider protecting it by placing a plant with Team-Up like Torchwood or Sweet Potato in front of them.

Another great strategy is to use this card on Re-Peat Moss, because it will attack instantly after this card was used, and since it only costs 1 sun, you can use other tricks to boost it even further and make it do more bonus attacks.

Against

Make sure that there is a zombie in front of the boosted plant to prevent it from dealing heavy damage to the Zombie Hero. However, if not, use tricks like Teleport or Beam Me Up, or tricks that move zombies to protect the Hero from heavy damage.

If the boosted plant gets too out of hand, get rid of it as quickly as you can. Use Rocket Science to easily destroy it, or bounce it to get rid of the boost. You can also use Locust Swarm if it gets out of hand or when you have no other choices.
