- For the Chinese version of this level before the v1.8 update, see Big Wave Beach - Day 11 (Chinese version: pre-1.8).
Big Wave Beach - Day 11 is the eleventh level of Big Wave Beach in Plants vs. Zombies 2. The Surfer Zombie first appears in this level. The tideline is located between the third and fourth column. When this level is finished for the first time, the player unlocks the Bowling Bulb.
Difficulty[]
- Surfer Zombies often appear.
- Snorkel Zombies are immune to peas while in water, however, they are not immune to lobbed projectiles.
- There are large amounts of Buckethead Zombies, which absorb a large amount of damage.
- There are fewer seed slots available because there are pre-selected plants.
Waves[]
- The small number next to the zombie icon means that zombie will always appear in that lane, with 1 being the topmost lane and 5 being the bottommost one.

Strategies[]
Strategy 1[]
- Created by AWPXML
- Required plants:
- Plant five Twin Sunflowers. Use Potato Mines and Magnifying Grasses to kill the first few zombies.
- Start planting Bowling Bulbs in the third and fourth columns and Wall-nuts in the fifth columns. Kill Surfer Zombies immediately with Magnifying Grasses.
- Repair Wall-nuts if necessary.
- During the final wave, use Plant Food on Bowling Bulbs.
Strategy 2[]
- Created by Natapat
- Required plants:
- Sunflower (pre-selected)
- Boosted Chili Bean
- Wall-nut (pre-selected)
- Tangle Kelp
- Boosted Lily Pad (pre-selected)
- Start by planting five Sunflowers on first column.
- When zombies show up, plant Lily Pad and Chili bean.
- Use Tangle Kelp to kill the Snorkel Zombie.
- When the first flag comes, he/she must plant Wall-nut to block the zombies.
- Repeat above steps until you win.
Strategy 3[]
- Required plants:
- Iceberg Lettuce
- Phat Beet
- Cherry Bomb (if you have the eighth slot)
- Start planting Sunflowers on the first and second column.
- When the first two zombies come, plant Phat Beets to deal with them.
- Keep planting Phat Beet to deal with Coneheads and Snorkel Zombies. Phat Beets can hit Snorkels when they are still underwater.
- When Buckethead Zombie appear, start planting Bowling Bulb.
- Surfer Zombies and the ambush "Low Tide!" will appear frequently, but Phat Beets will easily deal with them.
- Use Plant Food on Bowling Bulb or Cherry Bomb in emergency.
Strategy 4[]
- Created by Sucksthemost
- Required plants:
- For most pvz2 levels (including this one), it is best to plant as many Sunflowers as possible. Hence, start planting Sunflowers from column 2 up till column 4 and use Potato Mines to kill the first few zombies.
- Whenever the Wall-nut has finished recharging, plant it on a Lily Pad @ C5 asap.
- Before the first flag, fill C1 with Kernel-pults.
- During the first flag, the player should start digging out the Sunflowers on C2 and planting Bowling Bulbs whenever a Surfer Zombie comes.
- The Bowling Bulbs can easily manage the first low tide. Once C1-5 is filled with the respective plants, the set-up is completed.
- From then on, the player should have tons of sun due to the Sunflowers planted. Hence, whenever one sees a Surfer Zombie coming on that row x, dig up the Bowling Bulb on C2, Row x and replace it with another Bowling Bulb, so the stronger blue and orange bulbs come kill these pests before they reach the shore. The Wall-nuts will hopefully stall the Bucketheads for long enough.
- During the final wave, plant food Kernel-pult, then use Cherry Bomb and Bowling Bulbs to finish the zombies off.

Trivia[]
- Potato Mine is picked for the player, but it is harder to use on this level because it cannot be planted on Lily Pads and the tide covers two-thirds of the lawn.
