A-noob-is is an achievement in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It requires the player to kill a Tomb Raiser Zombie before he raises any tombstones. It is worth 5 points on Game Center for iOS devices and 500 XP on Google Play Games for Android devices.
Origins
Its name is a portmanteau of the Egyptian god of burial Anubis, which the Tomb Raiser Zombie is based on, and the word "noob," a term referring to new players or people who cannot play games well.
Strategies
To get this achievement, you must be fast giving Plant Food to your attacking plant so it can kill the Tomb Raiser Zombie quickly. Be careful, because if any other zombies get in the way it will be difficult to get rid of the Tomb Raiser Zombie. An Iceberg Lettuce or Stunion can immobilize him, buying you more time to kill him. If you have instant-kills, such as a Cherry Bomb or Jalapeno, that will also work to kill him quickly. As last-ditch effort, use Power Ups. You can always use a Wall-nut to stall him while other defenses attack the Tomb Raiser Zombie.
Trivia
- This achievement refers tombstones as gravestones.
- It, Not Baaad, Fly Fishing Fail, All in Jest, Mutiny, Shovel Off, Breaking It Off and You're an All-Star? all have similar objectives.
- Like You're an All-Star? and Flying Fish Fail, the icon is the headwear of the zombie in the achievement.
- However, this achievement's icon is the only one where the headwear has crossed out eyes.
